U4GM Explains PoE2 Reliquary Vault Rewards

Twilight Reliquary Keys are easy to miss because they don't come from one neat vendor or one named boss. They're an endgame drop, plain and simple. Once you're running Atlas maps, almost any serious loot source can spit one out, whether that's a monster pack, a chest, or some other reward pile you'd normally click without thinking. Players chasing PoE 2 Items will usually bump into one sooner or later, but it's not something you should expect on a schedule.

Where the key is used
When you do get a Twilight Reliquary Key, it opens the Reliquary Vault. You'll find this special Atlas location just northeast of the Ziggurat Refuge. It isn't a normal map with a long clear or a boss route. You enter, head to the golden chest, and claim one random Unique item. If you've got more keys, you can go back again. There's no one-time lockout, so the only real limit is how many keys you're willing to spend.

How most players get more keys
Waiting for random drops works, but it can feel slow. A lot of players just buy the key through the Currency Exchange instead, especially if they want to test their luck right away. Speak with Ange in Kingsmarch or in your Hideout, open Currency Exchange, and search for the key you want. The process is simple enough once you've done it once.

[*]Choose the "I Want" side first and search for Twilight Reliquary Key.
[*]Select the key from the results, making sure it's the version you actually want.
[*]Use the "I Have" side to pick the currency you're paying with, often Exalted Orbs.
[*]Check the current rate before confirming, because market prices can move fast.

What the Reliquary Vault can drop
The chest inside the vault gives a Foiled Unique. That sounds flashier than it plays. The item works like the regular version, with the same kind of stats and use cases, but its item card has a special visual treatment. Some players love collecting them. Others just see them as another roll at a useful Unique. You could get something exciting, like a rare chase item, but plenty of runs will hand you leveling gear or a Unique that doesn't fit your build at all.

Boss keys and what to expect
You'll also see boss-themed Reliquary Keys on the exchange, and those are a bit different. Instead of pulling from the broad vault pool, they roll from the Unique drops tied to that boss. A Xesht Reliquary Key, for example, can award a Foiled version of an item from Xesht's own loot table, such as Hand of Wisdom and Action. If you're planning builds, checking upgrades, or comparing PoE 2 gear with what the vault can realistically give you, it's worth remembering that these keys are still gambling tools, not guaranteed build fixes.
